Francie's Journey Through IPH

Francie*, a young female who is patiently waiting for the birth of her first baby has been a long-time guest at Community Connections. There, she regularly received case management services, meals, and daily social support.

A few months ago, Francie was referred to our Albany Emergency Shelter, located within walking distance of Community Connections. Without worrying about where she will sleep at night, Francie thrived. She continued to receive personalized case management, healthy meals, and support at medical appointments.

Within three short weeks at our Albany Emergency Shelter, Francie secured safe and permanent housing with the support of her case management team. Today Francie is happy and healthy in her own home, filled with furniture and household goods while preparing for her next adventure: motherhood.
